Credits & entries
How you earn and spend Stable Credits, and the daily entry bank.
Your stable runs on two things. Stable Credits pay for everything you choose to do: training, the vet, breeding, packs and new facilities. Stable entries are your daily budget for Live races. Credits are earned and spent inside the game only; they are never cashed out.
Stable Credits
You start with 3,000 credits. Your balance is the number in the top bar. A cost you can’t afford is simply refused, so you can never go into debt. The only running cost is the weekly upkeep on horses you used that week; a week away costs nothing.
Your finances page. The Finances page on your stable is the full set of books: every credit in and out for the week, the season or all time, grouped by what it was for, and a per-horse sheet that answers “is this horse paying for itself?” — what it earned in purses, sales, stud fees and lease shares against what it cost in training, upkeep, entry fees and its purchase price, right down to the cost per start. The stable page shows this week’s upkeep building up as you play.
How you earn credits
| Source | What it pays |
|---|---|
| Live races | A share of the purse for the first 6 home: 1st 55%, 2nd 20%, 3rd 12%, 4th 7%, 5th 4%, 6th 2% |
| Story races | A first win of each Story race pays the chapter's reward; any other finish pays 20 |
| Today's goals | 45 each for running a race, caring for a horse and running the Daily Cup (135 a day) |
| Daily Cup | 80 for your run each day |
| Selling a horse | The price, less a 5% market fee |
| Your stallion at stud | The stud fee you set (at most his appraisal), less a 10% cut |
| Insurance | 60% of the horse's appraisal if an injury ends its racing career |
| Releasing a horse to the Club | 50 credits |
Story rewards by chapter
Story rewards are capped per chapter, so they get you started but can’t be farmed forever.
| Chapter | First win of a race | Most the chapter can ever pay |
|---|---|---|
| The Club | 400 | 4,000 |
| County Circuit | 700 | 7,000 |
| National Stage | 1,100 | 11,000 |
| The Classics | 1,800 | 18,000 |

| Covering a mare | 1,500, plus the stud fee for another stable's stallion | Breeding basics |
| Paddock Pack | 1,200 (up to 3 a week) | Packs |

| A new stall | 2,000 rising to 8,800 | Facilities |
| Trainer | 6,000 / 15,000 | Facilities |
| Vet | 3,000 / 8,000 / 16,000 | Facilities |
| Entry office | 4,000 / 7,000 / 11,000 / 16,000 / 22,000 | The entry office |
| A horse at auction | The seller's price | The auction house |
| Weekly upkeep | 300 per racing horse and 200 per horse at stud, only for horses you used that week | Upkeep |
Upkeep
After each week ends, your stable pays upkeep for the horses you actually used: any horse that raced (Live or Story), had a paid training session, or covered or was covered. Horses you leave alone that week cost nothing, so a week away is free. Upkeep never takes your balance below zero: what you can’t pay is waived. The This week page shows it building up, and a note in your inbox shows the breakdown. The first week charged is the week starting 2 November 2026.
Every free Paddock Pack is earned by playing: one for every 3 days you play. See Packs.
Stable entries
Every Live race on the Race card costs stable entries. Your bank is the number in the top bar.
- +10 entries land at your local midnight. They are added the first time you play each day.
- Unused entries roll over into your bank, up to 20. Days you miss still count when you come back, up to that cap.
- A Live race costs 1 entry; a Feature, Group race or the Season Final costs 2. Story races and the Daily Cup are free.
- Each horse can run one Live race a day, so the more horses you have racing, the more of your entries you can use.
- If a race is abandoned you get the entries back. If you scratch a horse yourself, the entries are spent.
| When | What happened | Bank after |
|---|---|---|
| Day 1 | First visit: the day's allowance lands | 10 |
| Day 1 | 7 Live races entered | 3 |
| Day 1 | Back again later the same day: nothing more | 3 |
| Day 4 | Away for two days, then back: every missed day counts, up to the cap | 20 |
| Day 4 | A Group race (2 entries) | 18 |
The daily refill
When your bank is below 5, you can buy +5 entries for 250 credits, once per local day.
The entry office
The entry office in Facilities raises both numbers, one tier at a time, to at most 15 a day and a bank of 30.
| Tier | Cost | Entries a day | Bank holds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Start | – | 10 | 20 |
| Tier 1 | 4,000 | 11 | 22 |
| Tier 2 | 7,000 | 12 | 24 |

| Tier 4 | 16,000 | 14 | 28 |
| Tier 5 | 22,000 | 15 | 30 |
